Privacy Policy
Mexger is run by Mridul Sharma, an individual ("I", "me"). This policy explains what Mexger collects, why, who else handles it, and how you control it. It applies to everyone, wherever you live.
The short version
- You can look around Mexger without an account. An account needs only an email address and a password.
- Textem messages are end-to-end encrypted in your browser. UlChats and your API keys are encrypted before they are stored.
- No ads, no selling or sharing of your data, no tracking profiles. Analytics run only if you choose "Allow".
- You can export or delete everything yourself, any time, in Settings.
What Mexger collects and why
| What | Why | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Account: your email address and password. The password is stored only as a hash by Supabase, so nobody can read it. | To sign you in and keep your work in one account across every app. | Providing the service you asked for |
| Things you save: CAD models and the prompts that made them, Aimplify projects (parts, wiring, code, notes), your library, preferences, and apps you publish to the store. | So your work is there when you come back. | Providing the service |
| UlChats: the people you add, the WhatsApp chat you import, your conversations and their memory. | To let you talk with the person you added. Every one of these is encrypted (AES-256-GCM) before it is stored, and decrypted on the server only to answer you or to export your data for you. | Providing the service |
| Textem: your display name, public key, a backup of your private key locked with your passphrase, one-time codes, connect requests, who you chat with, and messages and files. | To connect you and deliver messages. Messages and files are end-to-end encrypted in your browser, so the server stores only ciphertext it cannot read. | Providing the service |
| API keys you add for other AI providers. | To call the provider you chose, for you. They are encrypted (AES-256-GCM) before they are stored, and only their first few characters are ever shown back. | Providing the service |
| Usage records: the action, model, provider, number of tokens and the time. Not the text of your prompts. | To apply fair-use limits and show your Usage page. | Providing the service |
| Request counts per account, or per network address for a few features that work without an account. | To stop abuse. Network (IP) addresses are never stored: only a keyed hash, and the counts are deleted within about a day. | Legitimate interest in keeping Mexger working |
| Visit statistics from Google Analytics, only after you choose "Allow". | To count visits and see which pages help people. IP anonymisation is on and no advertising features are used. | Your consent, which you can withdraw in Settings |
Mexger does not ask for your name, date of birth, phone number, location or payment details.
Your prompts and the AI models
When you use an AI feature, what the feature needs is sent to the company that runs the model: Groq for the free open models, or the provider of your own API key. For UlChats that includes parts of the chat history you imported. In Textem, AI drafting and chat analysis are off until you agree to them in the AI panel; then the messages you choose are sent for that one request.
Those companies process the request under their own terms. Mexger does not use your content to train AI models.
Hand tracking in CAD Studio runs entirely in your browser: the camera picture never leaves your device. Textem voice and video calls go directly between the two devices whenever possible, encrypted by the browser.
Who else handles your data
Mexger uses these services to run. None of them may use your data to advertise to you.
| Service | What it does for Mexger |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Database, sign-in and file storage |
| Vercel | Hosting the website and the server functions |
| Groq | Runs the free open AI models (GPT-OSS, Qwen) |
| The provider of your own key, if you add one: Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI, DeepSeek, Mistral or Cohere | Runs the model you chose, billed to your account with them |
| Cloudflare | Relays a Textem call, still encrypted, when the two devices cannot connect directly |
| Helps Textem calls find a route (STUN); Google Analytics, only if you allow it; serves the hand-tracking model file for CAD Studio | |
| jsDelivr | Serves open-source engines to your browser: SPICE, Yosys, nextpnr and the hand-tracking engine |
Like any website your browser loads files from, these services see your IP address when they serve you.
I would share data with authorities only when the law requires it, and I would tell you unless the law forbids that.
Where your data is processed
These services run in several countries, including the United States and the European Union, so your data may be processed outside the country you live in. Where the law requires safeguards for these transfers, Mexger relies on the providers' data processing terms.
How long it is kept
- Your account and the things you save: until you delete them or your account.
- Textem messages: for as long as the chat's disappearing-message setting allows. Expired messages are removed by a daily clean-up, view-once media is deleted once it has been opened, codes expire within a day, and connect requests within 24 hours.
- Request counts for abuse protection: about a day.
- Deleted data can stay in the hosting providers' backups for a short time, until those backups expire.
Your rights and controls
Wherever you live, you can:
- See and download your data: Settings → Export my data.
- Delete your account and everything in it: Settings → Delete account. This removes your data from every app, and your Textem chats for both people in them. Apps you published to the store stay listed without your name, because other people have installed them. Unpublish them first if you want them gone.
- Correct your data, or ask me to restrict or stop using it.
- Withdraw consent: analytics in Settings, Textem AI in its panel.
- Complain to the data protection authority where you live.
If you cannot sign in, email contact.mridulhere@gmail.com from the address on your account and say what you would like done. I reply within 30 days.
Children
Mexger is not for children under 13. If you are 13 to 17, you need your parent or guardian's agreement before you create an account. Mexger does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
If you think a child under 13 has an account, email contact.mridulhere@gmail.com and I will delete it.
Keeping it safe
Everything travels over HTTPS. Database rules let each account read only its own rows, and the encryption above covers the most private data. No system is perfect, so if a breach ever affects your data, I will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
Changes
When this policy changes, the date below changes too. If a change matters for how your data is used, Mexger will tell you in the app before it takes effect.

Mexger apps
- CAD Studio — Free AI CAD in your browser: describe a part and get parametric solids with exact booleans, ISO holes, involute gears and assemblies. Measure, section, explode, sketch in the air with your hands, and export watertight STL and STEP.
- Aimplify — Describe a gadget and AI designs the circuit and code, checked by wiring rules and the real Arduino compiler. Simulate Arduino and Raspberry Pi Pico, analog circuits with ngspice, Verilog on FPGAs, then turn it into a routed PCB with Gerbers for JLCPCB or PCBWay. Free.
- UlChats — Import a WhatsApp chat and talk with an AI that has learned their voice from your whole history together — with memory you can see and edit, and care built in. Encrypted before it is stored.
- Textem — Share a 4-digit code that works once; they enter it, you accept. End-to-end encrypted chats, photos, voice notes, view-once media, and voice and video calls — messages that disappear when you want them to.
- PromptArm — Write a raw prompt, pick a mode and a model, and PromptArm rewrites it into a form that gets the most out of the AI you are calling. Free with open models.
- Discover — AI apps, models and skills in the store.
